Hexie, Siggy, Christmas Through the Year and MAIL!!!

I received this soft, squishy package from Portugal...
and was so surprised!  I was getting a Pay it Forward ready for Teresa and I receive mail from her (I forgot I had signed her PIF to begin with).  Look at the beautiful gifts I received!

 

A gorgeous colorful round mat (it's on my daughter's library chair....and she'd like it to stay there), a pretty pillow that will look great in my bedroom, a zippered bag that is lined and has pockets (I need to learn how to do that) and has  lovely scented soap inside, an apron from Portugal which fits nicely and little ornaments.  Thanks so much Teresa, I'll treasure them all! 

I then received another package...
from Melody in Melborne.

 

I love the little house!  The stitching is beautiful and such detail...even little buttons and a pieced background.  Doesn't it look great hanging on the mantle.  Thank you Melody! This is from the12 inch mini quilt swap hosted by Cheryll.

Thank you for this wonderful siggy, I loved the fabric you used.  My siggy for you will be in the mail tomorrow.  Sorry it took so long to finish.

 

And here's my Christmas through the Year...a Mini quilt

 

 

and I've almost finished 2 snowmen and 1 snowflake wall hangings/runners.

 

Now for my hexie:  1 plus 5 pieces of one hidden in the Christmas things(by angels).  Would you believe my daughter's been trying to get me to finish a Christmas/winter wall hanging?

 

 

I guess ghosts don't go well with the angels and Nativity set.

Two Flower, Two Siggy Wednesday

Two Flowers - I met my goal for the week.....I'll aim for THREE flowers next week! 



 I enjoy sewing hexies and I find it very relaxing, so RELAXING that my daughter has had to take my needle, thread and hexie out of my hands because I have fallen asleep.  Please stop by Karen's One Flower Wednesday and take a look at the beautiful gardens; so many fabulous flowers to view.

A Visit from the Little Quiltghost

Today the Little Quiltghost came for a visit a brought me my 100th siggy!  Such a cute ghost and he made my day - I love getting siggy mail!  Thank you Marjolein and the Little Quiltghost.

Thank you for the beautiful siggies and sharing a little about yourself.  I love coming home from work and hearing my family say 'you have siggy mail!'  It really brightens my day.  I've been working on my sigggies and should be ready to swap again soon.

I have collected 92 wonderful siggies and when I reach 100 I'll start putting them into a quilt/wall hanging.

Siggy Swap

I have 2 beautiful siggies to add to my collection.  Thank you to all - I love getting these precious envelopes from so many countries.  When I arrive home from work my family yells, "a siggy came in the mail today!" - it makes my day!



Siggy Blocks

Thank you for the wonderful siggy blocks and notes.  I enjoyed reading about the stitchers and their siggies are BEAUTIFUL!  I can't wait to start making a quilt.

I'm now caught up with making and mailing  my siggies, if you are waiting for one it should be there within the week.  I had a little problem with the fox siggy I made so I've put that hold until I can find the right color that won't bleed.  I replaced 4 out of 5 of the fox siggies I made, if you have the 5th let me know (I may have it here at home but I'm not sure)
