My daughter asked me to go to a book signing last night and I really enjoyed it. The authors (Young Adult)were really interesting speakers. We got home late and my hexie was still missing a few petals...She said 'Mom it will just be a late bloomer, you can post it tomorrow. So, here it is.....

I joined a wool candle mat of the month (June 2011 - May 2012)and finished June and July's by August

and then I let things slip.
I started working on September's - Acorn candle mat after Christmas and finished that one today.
The December - Poinsettia candle mat was started in January and finished just one day ago.
I still have Aug, Oct and Nov to stitch - I just found August's last week! I'm really good at starting projects but as you can tell I don't stick with them. Thanks to Sew It's Finished I'm going to FINISH some of theseshelved projects!
I was asked how my garden was going to be put together and my response was I would post a little piece of my garden on Wednesday. So I sewed and sewed and...... until the sun was setting today and found a little light on a chair and quickly took a picture:

I just received a package in the mail and Oh MY!!! It's gorgeous, the embroidered heart is beautiful and has a little heart charm. A lovely handmade card/note, cute little pad of paper with my initials and of course chocolate.
