FNwF and Santa Sack Swap

I started my Friday working but I got off early and my sewing weekend began!

Friday I spent a delightful  afternoon with Jinny at a quilt shop and of course we both just had to by fabric and other goodies.  Why is it so much more fun to start a project than finish one......

Friday evening I did some prep work for a wool class I took on Saturday.  It's a design by Kathy Wall and you can visit her at her shop on line Woolkeeper by clicking HERE.

As you can see I finished the cover but today I'm going to work on the pages.  Labels are included so you can keep track of all the different needles.  Maybe I'll keep myself organized!

To see what all the other FNwF (click HERE) are up to visit Cheryll at Gone Stitchin' by clicking HERE.

I also joined Cheryll and friends for the Santa Swap Sack she hosts.  This will be my fourth year joining in on the fun.  It's open until June 9th so click HERE for information.

I've already started getting in the Christmas spirit by making ornaments.  I made these in a 'Make and Take' class by Kathy Wall of Woolkeeper (HERE)

I know there must be a way to rotate the picture but????

Laundry is calling and I want to visit all the other blogs on FNwF.

Happy Stitching!
Danette

Hi Danette - I love seeing your wool stitching - this is no exception - love it! That cottage is just too cute!
I hope you enjoy the Sack Swap, it always looks like lots of fun.... I will observe from the sidelines, I just have too many pressing projects needing my attention in the coming months, I couldn't possibly sign up for that swap! x
