One Flower Wednesday

It's Wednesday again and that means Hexie time.  I only made a few stepping stones for my garden this week but every little hexagon helps.  I'm working on quilting 2 runners and here is one of them. My local quilt shop has a great summer special.  You purchase the pattern of the week and you can purchase up to 10 fat quarters at a discounted price.....more on that next time - I'm too lazy to get up again and grab the patterns.

I have a wool class this Saturday, I can't wait!  Kathy (Woolkeeper website coming soon), who has designed other wool projects I've posted, is doing the third in a Seasons series.  The first Banner (6" x 12")was "Spring Blossoms".

Then came summer .....

"House on Daisy Hill" obviously isn't finished.....no daisies....

and Saturday is "Pumpkin Patch House". As you see I have most of the pieces traced and cut out.

Last, and most special, my daughter made/painted this for me.  I just LOVE IT!  She does such amazing work.  She's been creating a lot of mixed media works lately.  Maybe she'll let me post what's in Dad's (DH) room next.

Happy Stitching!

Danette
