One Flower Wednesday

Two flowers to add to my garden this week...

I need to make stones and leaves for my garden this week and start sewing it all together.  I'm not sure how far my background fabric will go...and that will determine the size of the quilt.

The weekend with my DD was fun.  We went to the RT Book Lover's Convention Teen Day and she came home with this:
She purchased a few (?) books (some were early releases) had them signed.  The rest was all free: bookmarks, buttons, pens, posters and a bag with four hard cover and four paperback books and 'Speed Dating': with 18 authors.  She even met an author in the elevator and was given a book!  If you want to stop by my daughter's blog click here.

I hope to have something finished by next week....didn't I say that last time?

Happy Quilting!

Hi Danette, great that you had a wonderful time with DD. Your flowers are lovely, do I detect you are going with lots of dark pinks & reds? Good luck with the quilt planning & putting it together...
