Another One Flower Wednesday and Quilting Retreat

I spent a long weekend at a Quilting Retreat and had a great time.  I think I talked a little more than sewed but learned so much.  My daughter turned 19 while I was there and she stopped by to visit - Jinnie had baked her a delicious Chocolate Birthday Cake - yum!
I made a few bookmarks, worked on a unfinished project:  Hay Bale by Edyta Sitar

It's still unfinished........

Started a new project for Scrap Club, Bow Ties this month:

Haven't decided how I'll put them together yet or what size to make - but I used batik scraps with a patterned black fabric.

I did finish my Chili Rounder table mat by Pam Wolf.  My FMQ isn't the greatest but this Saturday I'm taking a class and with practice I hope to improve.

I finished a hexie today so not to miss this Wednesday and I showed Gayle at the retreat how to make a hexie and she's already addicted.  Maybe she join One Flower Wednesday hosted by Karen and join in on the fun.

Have a great week...

Now, wouldn't that be great if Gayle joins One Flower Wednesday! Love, love, love the Chili Rounder. The Bow Ties are excellent, black and batiks make a lovely combination and you should finish Hay Bale, love it!
