One Flower Wednesday and FMQ

I just finished my flower - stop by at Karen's One Flower Wednesday to see how everyone's garden is growing.  I need to get organized!!!  I may have joined too many things but I'm having fun and learning LOTS.  I've even finished 2 UFO's.....and tried, for the first time, free motion quilting.

I'm following the FMQ Challenge at Sew Cal Gal and these heart leaves were the first tutorial.  It was hard to keep an even speed on pedal,  a light touch with the hands and remember the pattern.  I'm pretty good at multi-tasking at work but when my husband, daughter or dog spoke (barked) to me I would lose concentration and the pattern.  With practice I'll be able to ignore them
.............Oh! I meant quilt better.
Have a great week!

Your heart quilting is wonderful. I've started way too many things again this year, too, but I love all of it. What are you going to make from your hexagons? I like your fabrics.

Great job on your machine quilted hearts! It takes lots of practice, but is so worth the effort of learning how to do it. Blessings!
