One Flower Wednesday

How do you spell relief?  H-E-X-I-E.  Work was very stressful this past week and at night I would make a hexie flower to relax.............there are eight!

Two flower Wednesday



Two flowers were finished this week - just minutes before.  It's been a busy week:  work, work, and even work at home, a quilt shop hop (always fun!) and just not much time to sew.  Maybe next week.......... Can't wait to see all the other hexie flowers this week at Karen's blog One Flower Wednesday

Siggy Swap

Thank you for all the beautiful Siggies!  Sorry I've been so slow in posting. 

I have collected 92 wonderful siggies and when I reach 100 I'll start putting them into a quilt/wall hanging.

I just can't seem to decide on a color for sashing - any ideas?

One Flower Wednesday,pumpkin, apple,basket,,,,,

Four more flowers to add to my garden this week.  Thank you to everyone who keep me motivated and to Karen for setting up One Flower Wednesday.  Stop by this site and see all the beautiful hexies.

Last week I was given fabric, a pumpkin mini quilt pattern, and a Halloween card which stated I had no excuse not to finish it - so here it is,  Thanks Jinnie.

I also finished my basket (BOM) for October ( 20 days ahead of time!)

And I have part of a wedding gift completed

It's a six inch scroll frame and I have three other mini quilts almost completed:  bats, a snowman and a flower.

It feels great to get so much done!

A Fistful of Flowers

I only did hand sewing this past week - and really enjoyed it!  I just didn't get motivated to sit at the machine.  I made five flowers for my garden and I stitched two Christmas redwork pieces.  It was great!

Abundance

I had a month to finish this block...so I waited until the 'last minute' and this afternoon after work I pieced it together so I could pick up my next free basket block at club tonight.

Maybe I'll finish the next block before the month ends.....
