This package has been calling for days and days...

And today is Opening Day....for Santa Sack Swap  hosted by the wonderful Cheryll .  Click on her name to visit her site and click here to find out about the Santa Sack Swap.

My fabulous swap partner Debbieann sent all these fantastic goodies..I feel so special!

The beautiful card holder she made for me -

and candy, pencils, tablet...

and fabric and buttons all from Canada

Owl buttons and patterns

and fabric and more fabric...such pretty colors....

Debbieann also gave me a very special gift of two of her own patterns..she's so creative!

Thank you so much for all the fantastic gifts!
Its been wonderful making a special online friend.

Christmas Through the Year is hosted by the wonderful Anthea, click here to see the gifts others have been making.

I did a little more crocheting and a table runner

One Flower Wednesday is hosted by the wonderful Karen, click here to check out what hexies have been stitched this week.

This hexie flower pin is made by folding and tacking two hexagons.  I made it last night at a 'Make and Take' class. (it's not a very good picture but it's better than the others)

A special thank you to my Santa Sack Partner Debbieann and to the fabulous hosts Cheryll, Anthea and Karen who make blogging so much fun.

Happy Holidays!

Sunday, December 8, 2013

I know it's Sunday but I had a great FNwF.  My daughter was accepted into a juried Art Show/Sale and the ladies I sew with on the last Friday of the month all came by to see my daughter's work and then we went out to dinner.  It was a great night!

I did do a little sewing on the weekend...

My Friday night group has nick named this quilt the "Pointless Quilt" because these 6" blocks have so many pieces it's easy to lose some points.

This package arrived for me this past week.  It's from my Santa Sack partner Debbieann.  We're waiting to hear from Santa Cheryll as to when we can open our presents.

Thank you Cheryll for setting up FNwF and the Santa Sack Swap!
Visit Cheryll's blog to see what everyone was sewing...that's my plan for Monday after work.

Happy Stitching!
